Congratulations, John. I didn't stay around long enough to be
excommunicated; rather I started the Luthiers' Corner over at
Guitar Talk as a direct reaction to Deb's control-freak attitude.
She erased a link I posted to Frank Ford's Frets.com site,
calling it a commercial site!
I wound up relinquishing my moderator status at LC when I got
into a pissing contest with a bunch of wanna be guitar hacks
who should have been content to stick with the "Gear" threads.
I was hoping for a high level discussion site for luthiers only,
whether they be pros or dedicated amateurs, but the wankers
wanted in. I do notice that now that they're allowed, they
rarely post! There was a funny one where a guy asked a
question, got great answers from several of us, and then he
complained that the answers were too technical and over his
head...how dare we!
Anyhow, here I is, and life is good.
